Becky has spent 30 years leading efforts to enable children and families to thrive as a social entrepreneur, and education strategy and philanthropy adviser. As a philanthropic advisor, Becky works with donors to connect their sense of purpose to their giving and supports donors ranging from launching their giving to investing more than 100M/year in social impact. She also works with partners on Purposeful Giving, an effort to build a broader network of individual donors and informed philanthropic advisors who are engaged with high-impact giving to education and thriving youth. 

Becky has held a range of executive leadership roles including serving as CEO of Clayton Early Learning, a Denver-based early childhood organization focused on research, policy, and direct service. Prior to Clayton, Becky worked on a combination of grantmaking and program design focused on an integrated health and education approach to child development at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. Becky launched Bellwether Education Partners’ Talent Advising practice and has worked on a range of strategy projects focused on educational equity. Becky served as Executive Director of Partners in School Innovation from 2003-2009 partnering with largest urban districts in the Bay Area to increase student achievement. Becky launched her career as a researcher at Stanford University while she founded a mentoring program for Stanford student-athletes. Becky is a Pahara/Aspen Global Leadership Network fellow. She has degrees in English, Education, and Business from Stanford University where she was the Co-Captain of the national champion women’s swim team. Working toward creating the beloved community has always been her passion and purpose including a highlight spending parts of the past four summers teaching refugees to swim in Lesvos, Greece with her son.
