Julien Phillips is the co-founder and Executive Director-Emeritus of Partners in School Innovation. Before founding Partners, Julien worked with McKinsey & Company for 20 years, where he specialized in managing major change in complex organizations. He is a founding board member of Ashoka, a past board member of the Bay Area School Reform Collaborative and Pacific School of Religion, and an organizing committee member of Teamworks Co-operative. He received BA, MA and MBA degrees from Stanford University, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru from 1964-66.
